DR. THEROUX
Dr. Theroux has published journal articles on pain control in orthodontics, practice management, and clinical orthodontics. He has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally on these topics.
Dr. Theroux is especially proud of the publication and professional acceptance of his “Theroux Phase One” retainer, which has been featured multiple times in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, the profession’s most prestigious clinical publication.
His article on the retainer was chosen as a “must read” by Practical Reviews in Orthodontics and has become required reading at most orthodontic residency programs in the United States.
His retainer is now one of the most commonly used orthodontic appliances in the world. He’s kind of a big deal in the orthodontic community!
Dr. Theroux has had the honor of presenting at the largest orthodontic meeting in the world, the Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontists, on six occasions.
He has lectured in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and Australia.*

DR. BAREFOOT
Dr. Barefoot is a recognized clinical expert in the use of the MEAW technique which is utilized to treat severe bite problems without the use of jaw surgery. The patients Dr. Barefoot treats have typically been advised by other orthodontists that jaw surgery is their only option. Indeed, Dr. Barefoot has patients fly in monthly from many other states to see him as so few orthodontists in the US have mastered this technique. He even has patients from other countries! Go, Dr. B!
Dr. Barefoot was recently featured in a national publication regarding his orthodontic journey and clinical expertise and has lectured nationally an internationally on orthodontics.
Along with Dr. Theroux, he is an orthodontic consultant for the CO State Dental Board.
